Last weekend I attended an LA Mamacitas event promoting the upcoming movie “Daddy’s Home 2” with my little family. It was a fun day out with my husband, Tommy, and our soon-to-be eight month old little boy, Ben. It was a nice change being at an a event where the dads were the VIP guests for the day! LA Mamacitas always set up the most enjoyable and unique activities.
“Daddy’s Home 2” follows the story of a father and stepfather duo, Dusty and Brad, as they join forces to make the holiday season perfect for their children. It is a fun holiday movie for the whole family to love starring John Lithgow, Mel Gibson, Linda Cardellini, Mark Wahlberg and John Cena.
Since this movie is all about the dads, all of our husbands/dads (aka LA Papacitos) were invited to the event. Sugar Craft LA hosted a cookie-decorating class, and had all the cookies, frosting and sprinkles set up and ready for cookie decorating with dads. Not only was this a fun way to bond, but a great way to kick off the holiday season as well!
“Daddy’s Home 2” comes to theaters this Friday, November 10th. Be sure to catch it, and enjoy the laughs with the special dad in your life or with all of your family and friends!
I love coffee! I am my father’s daughter for sure, because anyone who knows my dad knows that he can drink coffee all day long. My Easy Coconut Vanilla Iced Coffee is a great way to make your own iced coffee at home. It’s so customizable. You can add as much creamer as you’d like, and you can change it up to use your favorite flavor of creamer. There’s just something about a strong, sweet and milky cup of iced cold coffee that makes my day.
I love a hot cup of coffee in the morning, but my favorite way to drink coffee is iced. Most of the time when I buy coffee at a coffee shop my drink is Vanilla Iced Coffee with some kind of milk to make it creamy. This recipe is a really good and easy one for making awesome iced coffee at home. Continue reading “Easy Coconut Vanilla Iced Coffee “
I am a new mama!
My husband, Tom, and I survived the first month of parenthood, and we could not be more in love with our son, Ben!
I decided I wanted to do something special to track each month of his first year. There are so many creative ideas out there, and since I love the look of a chalkboard, I decided to go with that. This is my DIY Monthly Baby Update Chalkboard and Photos. Continue reading “DIY Monthly Baby Update Chalkboard and Photos”
