Holiday Cookies with Dad & New Movie Daddy’s Home 2

Last weekend I attended an LA Mamacitas event promoting the upcoming movie “Daddy’s Home 2” with my little family. It was a fun day out with my husband, Tommy, and our soon-to-be eight month old little boy, Ben. It was a nice change being at an a event where the dads were the VIP guests for the day! LA Mamacitas always set up the most enjoyable and unique activities.

“Daddy’s Home 2” follows the story of a father and stepfather duo, Dusty and Brad, as they join forces to make the holiday season perfect for their children. It is a fun holiday movie for the whole family to love starring John Lithgow, Mel Gibson, Linda Cardellini, Mark Wahlberg and John Cena.

Since this movie is all about the dads, all of our husbands/dads (aka LA Papacitos) were invited to the event. Sugar Craft LA hosted a cookie-decorating class, and had all the cookies, frosting and sprinkles set up and ready for cookie decorating with dads. Not only was this a fun way to bond, but a great way to kick off the holiday season as well!

“Daddy’s Home 2” comes to theaters this Friday, November 10th. Be sure to catch it, and enjoy the laughs with the special dad in your life or with all of your family and friends!

Sprouts Haul

Today I am quickly sharing the items I picked up at Sprouts this week! I love shopping at Sprouts, because they have so many unique and healthy items that are sometimes hard to find in regular grocery stores. I also always love the produce quality they have.

Typically I shop there for items and produce that are on sale. Most of the fruit and veggies I pick up are always the ones on sale! It is not the main store I use for the majority of my groceries, but I love going there. I always check the Sprouts ad on their app and also scan the coupons there. That is an easy way for me to make a list of things I want and SAVE money!

This week I mostly went to Sprouts to browse and pick up snacks and quick breakfast items. Everything I got is below. What are some of your favorite Sprouts/ heath food items? If you have any questions on the items I got here just let me know in the comments below!☺️ Cliff bars and a great grab and go item for me. I especially love that they made mostly made of oats which in my opinion helps with milk production, and since I am nursing that is important to me. Love Lenny & Larry’s cookies! The fact that they are soy free, vegan and high in protein is awesome. The white chocolate macadamia flavor is my favorite. You can’t go wrong with the bulk bins for beans & rice. We don’t buy much meat, but when I do get some for Tommy I try and get the best quality I can. This was my first time trying Cedar’s hummus. Love it! The lemon flavor is great. It is bright and just a little tart. I ate the whole thing in 3 days with my multi grain/ seed tortilla chips. Alexia frozen fries…faves!!! 😍All of these items above were all on sale this week. Like I said, I tend to buy what’s on sale! Lastly the organic sweet potato and the avocados were for making Ben’s baby food!

Easy Coconut Vanilla Iced Coffee

I love coffee! I am my father’s daughter for sure, because anyone who knows my dad knows that he can drink coffee all day long. My Easy Coconut Vanilla Iced Coffee is a great way to make your own iced coffee at home. It’s so customizable. You can add as much creamer as you’d like, and you can change it up to use your favorite flavor of creamer. There’s just something about a strong, sweet and milky cup of iced cold coffee that makes my day.

I love a hot cup of coffee in the morning, but my favorite way to drink coffee is iced. Most of the time when I buy coffee at a coffee shop my drink is Vanilla Iced Coffee with some kind of milk to make it creamy. This recipe is a really good and easy one for making awesome iced coffee at home. Continue reading “Easy Coconut Vanilla Iced Coffee “
